We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager at the Vogtle AP1000 project.  The Project Manager will provide management support for the AP1000 project.  This includes management of all phases of program and project activities that range from small to large in value and a variety of disciplines that include engineering, applied science, procurement, construction, project controls and operations. Individual will direct preparation of work plans, supervise project teams, and manage project scope, budget and schedule.  As Project Manager for Vogtle, the primary responsibility for this position will be to focus on integrating the activities of the constructor, Engineering and Procurement. This individual will work under the direction of Management.  In this position, a Project Manager can also expect to be responsible for the following:
•Overall integration of design, procurement, and construction activities of the AP1000.  This responsibility includes managing the engineering activities for design of the AP1000, coordinating the activities related to AP1000 by subcontractor, overseeing the design related to WECTEC self-perform engineering related to piping, electrical, and I&C interconnections, overseeing the development of the EPC subcontractor schedule and its integration into the WECTEC self-perform and project schedule.
•Coordinating and overseeing the system start up testing.
•Identifying and resolving day to day interfaces amongst WECTEC, our client, subcontractors etc.
•Provide monthly reports on EPC progress.
•Developing financial reports and inputs for revenue projections for the project.
•Supervise project personnel and ensure that deliverables are produced on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements
•Monitor engineering scopes, schedules, budgets, and progress in coordination with the Project Engineering Manager
•Monitor and reinforce project safety and quality programs
•Ensure Procedure Adherence is maintained and identify/implement process/program/procedure improvements as necessary
•Represent the company to the client and maintain positive client relationships
•Manage budgets and monthly reporting of performance against budget using the Earned Value Management System
•Develop and issue monthly internal and external reports as appropriate
•Support refinement of detailed integrated EPC schedule and coordinate schedule inputs and status with project team
•Input & review trend analysis
•Support development of ongoing forecasts
•Support interface between engineering and construction during construction execution
•Monitor status of subcontractor drawings, information, deliveries, and installations in accordance with project needs and schedule
•Monitor and maintain project resource forecasts

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
•10-15 year experience in power design or construction
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Knowledge of schedule and budget development and maintenance
•Understanding of power plant systems, preferably nuclear PWR systems electrical, mechanical, & structural
•Understanding of the relationships between work processes and the business
•Proven Ability to manage professional employees, including technical and production staff
•Proven Ability to manage financial resources
•Knowledge of own technical discipline and related disciplines
•Ability to manage multiple priorities
•Candidate must meet the criteria for access to the company's, partners', and clients' technologies
•PMP Certification is preferred
