Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing prime customer interface and manage Long Term Program (LTP) Maintenance contracts for operating plant combustion turbines and other rotating equipment in the Andinas region within Latin America (RLA).


This function requires detail-oriented team-player who is dedicated, self-starting, creative, with a working knowledge of combustion turbine plants, project engineering skills, and excellent commercial sense to perform the following tasks for assigned operating customers:

- Prepare Total Maintenance Service (TMS) meeting documents and facilitate TMS meetings with the assigned customers to plan maintenance outages, implement technical improvements, product modifications, upgrades and other solutions to the plant
- Deliver the highest level of service to demanding customers by providing value through our services as we strive to continually increase customer satisfaction
- Work with the regional DSO (District Service Office) and regional Sales Manager for plant services, outages and issues
- Establish and identify LTP parts future demand, configuration, and fulfillment needs. Establish and control costing strategies while developing and executing logistic requirements within the LTP contracts
- Provide technical interface while increasing customer relationship up through customer headquarters operations personnel
- Keep customers advised of modifications affecting operation and maintenance of units
-Recommend and technically sell improvement and upgrade programs in an effort to increase the contract's financial results and future backlog
-Interface with the customer; planning, scheduling, making recommendations and implementing CT outages
-Identify and resolve warranty and commercial issues
- Ensure technical correspondence, operating history and configuration records are maintained
- Manage the contract parts ordering/delivery and repairs
-Manage LTP contract program financials and present financial status to LTP management each fiscal quarter
-Travel as needed to foster customer intimacy while planning

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

•Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge as presented above. Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable
•BS/BA in Engineering, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
•Candidate must be able to lead a project team and provide guidance to multidiscipline project team members that report to different business groups
•Spanish language skills required (speak, read, and write)
•Candidate must be able to work with teams, develop and follow the project plan(s), including but not limited to the execution of the communication plan(s) with his/her internal and external stakeholders
•Must demonstrate and apply a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments. Must be able to successfully apply complex knowledge of technical concepts, practices, and procedures related to rotating equipment maintenance and related disciplines
•Demonstrate knowledge of organization's business practices and issues

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

•PM@Siemens Level 3 Certification required and can be substituted by the PMI certification (must be attained within 18 months)
•Power plant rotating equipment knowledge (working concept and maintenance requirements)
•Generator basic knowledge (working concept and maintenance requirements)
•Proficiency with basic applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint
•Ability to learn other programs and applications such as SAP, eFMT, etc...
•Presentation skills are required since the candidate will present to executives and customers
