- Provide on-time, accurate and complete tenders, according to the Customer requirements, to the applicable rules, regulations, codes and standards, to good engineering practise, and following the Unit Management / Sales strategy.
- Provide DOW (division of work) and technical annexes, Tender Time Schedule. Secure approvals of involved product lines.
- Provide cost data within target budget.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality and EHS rules and initiatives from the business, sector and corporate within his area of responsibility.
- Ensure a coordinated approach with Sales and tender supporting functions in all areas.
- Participate and provide input for technical and commercial strategy reviews of the tender projects, together with Sales Director and Unit management. This input includes analysis of competition, technical concept and feasibility, target bottom-up costing, division of work and technical assessment of potential external partners, outlook regarding risks, needed and available tender team capacity.
- Support the Sales in the project screening.
- participate and/or lead Internal Risk Reviews, covering all technical, scope, cost and risk aspects, as well as check of terms & conditions and commercial costs.
- Management of Tendering organization of Unit with regard to project handling capacity, and set priorities to the other Tender Supporting Functions.
- Recruitment and development of the resources with right skills.
- Ensure leadership and motivation by establishing an open and broad communication of the principles, objectives, targets and processes including the feedback communication.
- Ensure optimal, right and lean costing and performance calculation of the projects, in full transparency, whilst maintaining an effective technical risk management.
- Support and advice sales and the offer team.
- Determination and follow-up of tendering Budget, forecast and periodic reviews across the Unit.
- Technical support to Sales for pre-acquisition phase.
- Collect the market information, technical requirements and evaluation criteria to enable the offer team and the supporting functions prepare market oriented tenders.
- Initiation and ensuring feed-back of experience including learning cycles within the tender groups.
- Consolidation and improvement of the overall tender process in cooperation with the Process Owners.
- Development of new and improvement of existing tender tools

- Provide Tenders on time.
- Tendering budget monitoring.
- Tender Projects quality follow-up.


Educational Requirements
- Master's degree in an Engineering discipline
- Knowledge of Public Procurement Law in Poland
- Project Management
- Risk awareness, contract principles
- Polish & English (fluent)

Knowledge / Experience
- At least 10 years of experience in the Power Plant Business, with relevant experience in Tendering and Engineering.
- solid understanding of public procurement law and bids in Poland
- Management of team, processes and other resources.
- Knowledge of the Engineering Methods
- Intercultural and international experience
- Knowledge of the Power Plant main components, systems, including air cleaning solutions
- Contract negotiation
