Reporting to the Area Manager, he or she will be the main interlocutor for both new and recurrent customers for the sale of water treatment products and services in Iberia, focusing on the are of Cataluña (East-North of Spain). The position requires at least a 60% of travel to customer sites.

Essential Responsibilities

Main responsibilities include:

  • Identify and development new accounts and sales opportunities
  • Maintain current accounts
  • Manage development and execution of strategic sales plans
  • Identify gaps in the market place that limit the sales
  • Identify customers' needs and prepare adjusted offers to meet their needs
  • Plan and develop technical and sales offers
  • Maximize sales volume in each customer

    Qualifications/Requirements


    • Chemistry degree or similar
    • Strong proven experience in the water treatment or similar industry
    • Fluent in both Spanish and English is a must
    • Proven sales experience
    • Strong customer focus
    • Results oriented
    • Good communication skills (both oral and written)
    • Flexible: able to work in a uncertain environment
    • Decisive: able to take calculated risks within his/her scope of responsibility
    • Team player
    • EU work permit
    • Valid Spanish driven licence
    Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
