We are hiring a Damage Prevention Intern to be based in St Paul, MN. This position will require working 6-15 hours/week during academic periods, with the ability work additional hours during non-academic periods based on departmental work load. First consideration will be given to graduates of the Legacy I3 program.
 
This is a great opportunity to learn about how Damage Prevention captures information and utilizes data and relationships with stakeholders to reduce underground excavation damage.
 
Responsibilities
  • The Damage Prevention intern will assist the Damage Prevention Department with data management of all damages to Xcel Energy utilities. Duties will include:
  • Organizing electronic documents associated with damages
  • Creating reports
  • Scanning documents
  • Communicating with our service centers and vendors to collect information.
 
Requirements
  • Active college/university student
  • Ability to work 6-15 hours/week during academic periods
