Our Fort Worth, Texas office is searching for a Structural EIT to join their team. Responsible include:

  • Performs calculations and evaluations in the design of equipment and systems for commercial applications
  • Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects
  • Assists with activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements
  • Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer
  • May assist with maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations
  • May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering task

  • B.S. (required) and Masters in Civil or Architectural Engineering (Structures) is preferred
  • Should be an EIT
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable consulting or A/E firm performing design of commercial, retail, or institutional buildings is required
  • Experience with AutoCAD is required
  • Experience with Revit, RISA, RAM, and STAAD is preferred
  • Must have knowledge of national building codes and design codes
