The Role:

The Logistics P6 Planner is responsible for working with Logistics Scope Owner planners to define, document, and status the Logistics' "Get Ready to Operate" plans, as well as the Logistics Execution "Movement Books", using Primavera P6.
Accountable for:
This position reports to the project controls manager. The Logistics P6 Planner will act as a focal point for capturing detailed level 3+ schedule tasks and milestones from the Logistics Scope Owners ensuring:
* The Logistics Movement Books are established and maintained with within P6 and Garner
* A robust linkage exists between Scope Owners, Logistics Scheduling, Interface Management, and Stakeholders
* Direct coordination with the Logistics Optimization Team and the Logistics Stakeholder Management lead

Tasks will include, but not be limited to:
* Supporting the direct interface with the Project Schedule in P6 through liaison with the Logistics Lead Scheduler;
* Support definition of logistics processes for contractual / procedural interface / interface points;
* Support the project controls manager with the development of detailed operational logistics processes;
* Programming and Optimization;
* Translate interface/integration process to resource-loaded schedules (Levels 3+);
* Interpreting SOW and translating key activity/deliverable requirements to the Schedule;
* Develop / Update / maintain the internal logistic schedule including resource loading;
* Produce regular dashboard updates for utilization by the Logistics Leadership Team;
* Develop / Control internal project schedules including 'what if' exercises
* Provide direct interface with embedded planners in each of the Logistics functional/delivery teams;
* Assist the core / project planning team as required;
* Development of spreadsheets, databases, schedules; and
* Any other tasks as directed by the project control manager

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum Years of Total Experience: 10
* Previous experience of operational logistics and logistics planning
* 5 years Oil and/or Gas Industry Experience an advantage but not critical
* Previous experience in Primavera P6
* Demonstrate a strong analytical approach to problem solving
* High level of competence in MS Office: Access, Visio, Word, Powerpoint and Excel
* Excellent information management skills
* Flexibility to adapt to changing environments and work in other countries
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Team player, able to propose better ways of collaborative working
* Must have the right to work in the EU
