The Role:
• Financial & Management Reporting
• Supervises and manages month-end closing activities and Financial Reporting, coordinates with local Finance, Regional and Finance Shared Services (FSS) team to ensure smooth transactional and timeliness
• Examines the financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and timely submission and/or filing with government agencies and lending institutions
• Manages and facilitates the business planning processes to ensure assumptions and information required from various BUs are developed timely and according to guideline from DSR/Central Planning
• Oversees the performance of staff and their service/support provided to local Finance, various Business Units, Chevron Thailand & Affiliates, Regional Finance, Corporate Finance, Internal and External Auditors
• Deployment of Corporate Accounting Policies & Local Statutory
• Adheres to the Loss Prevention System and utilizing its related tools in accordance with annual targets
• Reviews and identifies improvement opportunities in Planning Accounting
• Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned including participating in special projects

Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
• At least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is preferable.
• At least 10 years of experience in all well-round Accounting and Finance areas from the leading international or multinational companies. Some background in the oil/gas or the petrochemical industries is advantage.
• At least 5 years of experiences in the managerial position with leading and managing the team
• Proven record of achievement
• Business and commercial acumen preferably in the oil/gas or the petrochemical industries
• Demonstrate good knowledge in compliances, SOX, local statutory regulations related to Finance and Accounting, Taxation and Audit. Strong analytical business performance and strong in developing business plan.
