Perform activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining solutions, products and processes under the guidance of a Lead Analyst or Manager. May assist in the coordination of tasks for subordinates.


- Perform, document and assist in planning work activities relating to projects, sub-projects, or processes. For Projects: analyze requirements, then design, build, and test IT software solutions in accordance with IT project management standards. For operations/application maintenance: enhance, maintain or support existing IT products and processes to the defined service level agreement

- Maintain engagement with business and IT partners.

- Assist less experienced personnel.

- Proactively build business/IT knowledge to provide solutions.

- Utilize best practices to improve products and services. Apply and verify compliance to standards as defined within the Management Model.

Job Responsibility:

- Provide 24x7 application support including system fixes, minor enhancements to various SCADA related systems (vendor packages and custom built) and resolve system and customer issues in a timely manner

- Support Lead Analysts in executing system life cycle upgrades, and provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to project teams by analyzing requirements, preparing use cases, and executing project plans as applicable

- Perform impact analysis to various problems/requirements, recommend solutions/workarounds and follow SDLC life cycle to promote fixes into production environment

- Provide SCADA Team Coordinator role to review various production changes (system and infrastructure such as network) to ensure production systems are not inadvertently impacted

- Partner with business clients and vendors to construct, deploy, operate, and support various solutions in accordance with company standards (e.g. security, compliance, architecture)

- Create, assign, and track completion of detailed activities/tasks across various teams, and expect to work under minimal supervision

Skills and Experience:

- Bachelors degree and typically 3 to 5 years related experience in SCADA technical support or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

- Package Software Management: Managing vendor packages (ABB SCADA, PI, ID) troubleshooting, assessment, and software deployments (includes strong testing and compliance adherence)

- Custom Software Programming: Visual Studio Environment (C, C#, ASP/HTML), Web/Application Server development (.NET/Java), relational database (Oracle, SQL Server), UNIX and Windows Scripting

- Soft Skills: People Management including consulting skills and strong communication
