Job Description
Position Overview

Completes the development of business plans and product introduction plans on a global or regional basis. Conducts/organizes the cross functional activities related to training, documentation, tools, sales, marketing, service, logistics/manufacturing. Completes the requirements for the development of new products or enhancing existing products or product lines. Performs complex technical application assistance. Completes evaluation and monitors product/solution throughout all stages of quality cycle (proposal, definition, build, validation, production, end of enhancements, end of availability, end of support).                                                                                               
This position will report to the manager of product management for the customer service product management life cycle group within the mobility division.


• Gather and provide LCC/Maintenance costs/Technical service requirements
• Support in the technical bid of maintenance/overhaul projects
• Provide LCC budget, Maintenance Concepts, Depot Requirements, Special Tools, IT Tools Specifications, Spares VTC & MTC, and service requirements to the delivery project
• Validation of LCC, service requirements, maintenance plan & procedures, finalize spares & tools packages, overhaul planning, finalize depot requirements, IT tool setup, configuration management
• Support in field incident reports, fmi implementation, claim management, optimize maintenance process for projects, performance tracking support, change management
• LCC tracking during life of project and obsolescence management

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-5 years experience in project support environment
• 25% travel

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree
• 2+ years rail experience
• PMP Certification, Six Sigma Certification
