EEDP's in Power experience technically challenging and innovative rotations in the power generation industry focusing in the areas of Systems application, Analysis, Design, Drafting, Quality, Reliability, Integration & Test and service. The core engineering skills gained in assignments are enhanced through Advanced Courses in Engineering and Corporate leadership training. Experience and training combined with mentoring and guidance from assignment managers, prepares members with the technical skills and values needed to achieve a successful technology career at GE Power.

Qualifications/Requirements

Masters degree in the majors stated above. GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 overall (3.2 preferred). Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing is preferred. Strong commitment to a career in technology and a passion for engineering. Demonstrated an analytic approach to problem solving. Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms. Strong team skills with demonstrated leadership skills. Knowledge of advanced mathematics, including but not exclusively limited to calculus and differential equations.

Desired Characteristics

Preference will be given to persons with 3.2/4.0 overall or higher GPA, majoring in Thermal & Power Eng, Mechanical Eng, Electrical Eng, Materials Eng that have prior intern, co-op, or research experience in an engineering environment; that have a strong commitment to a career in technology and a passion for engineering; that have demonstrated an analytic approach to problem solving; and that have demonstrated leadership skills, community involvement, and a passion for technology. With software programing or related skill sets.
