GE Water & Process Technologies is currently searching for a sales professional to join the Engineered Systems Sales Team. In this role, your primary focus will be on Build-Own-Operate ( BOO) and Mobile Water.

Essential Responsibilities

As the Senior Sales Manager - Houston, TX Area, you will:
  • Lead an effort across NAM Region to coordinate and develop Synergies with the ES Projects Team with special focus on projects with Services
  • Proactively drive mobile and outsourcing solutions to the overall potential customer base in the territory
  • Work seamlessly with BOO/Mobile team to build strategy and tactics to maximize GE's outsourcing solutions
  • Foster a strong partnership with the CMS team to maximize synergy with their accounts and growth initiatives
  • Execute a growth plan to open new doors to non-GE Water accounts
  • Account ownership of ongoing and supplemental business as well as renewals at existing BOO sites
  • Collaborate with fellow ES team members to develop RO/ED and UF/MBR opportunities
  • Develop a comprehensive plan for the geography to maximize mobile solutions and build-out opportunities for the other P&Ls
  • Develop a pipeline of well-qualified projects, which will provide short, medium and long-term success
  • Provide routine and accurate opportunity and sales forecasts
  • Provide prompt and responsive service to sales clients in respective areas
  • Understand customer's needs, qualify leads, and work closely with the Engineering and Commercial Operations department to provide competitive solutions for our customers
  • Support companies' new products launch campaigns and gather market information for companies' new developments
  • Interface with Product Marketing and other disciplines to leverage their expertise to create value proposition for customer
  • Make integrity a main driver for all activities.
  • Regular and frequent travel within the territory
  • Deliver results meeting goals on revenue and bookings, and fulfill other goals and objectives


  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related science discipline from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 5 years of Water Industry Contractual Sales / Commercial experience

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
