Job Duties:
  • Electrical Engineering position working with complex electrical distribution and power plant control systems.
  • Will utilize the use of strong engineering fundamentals to implement solutions for problems in the electrical engineering field.
  • After qualifying as Plant Systems Engineer, performs and develops performance monitoring plans and optimize preventive maintenance strategies in support of long term equipment reliability.
  • Responsible for providing troubleshooting leadership.
  • Will be assigned to support the Emergency Response Organization
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering is required. PE may substitute for BS degree.
  • Five (5 ) or more years of engineering or related experience is required.
  • Nuclear industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with diesel generator control systems is a plus
Position assumes a special assignment during refueling outages and an emergency preparedness role. The position requires that within 6-12 months from hire date, the employee assumes an Emergency Response Team position. Accordingly, once the employee assumes the Emergency Response Team position, they are required to report for duty at the assigned emergency station within 50 minutes of the site's emergency activation.
