Innogy SE require a UK Head of Reward & Pensions, to lead the reward and pensions team in the UK. This is a full time role ideally based in Swindon or Solihull, with some travel to London and Germany

Role description The UK Head of Reward and Pensions is the lead specialist for the UK on Compensation & Benefits (Comp & Ben) concepts, policies and products. Reporting to the Group Head of Compensation, Benefits & Global Mobility .You will be responsible for developing the Centre of Expertise (CoE) strategy in line with the Group HR Management Agenda throughout the UK, working closely with key UK business stakeholders, acting as an ambassador on behalf of the CoE with key internal customers and ensuring that the CoE is responsive to business needs. You will provide strategic advice on the UK reward requirements, meeting the needs of the business and identifying best practices and market trends across all Comp & Ben and Pension activities. You will also represent Innogy SE with the appropriate external bodies, including Electricity Pensions Limited, Electricity Pensions Trustee Limited, and The Pensions Regulator. The Innogy UK pension plan has assets in excess of £3.5bn and this role play a central part in ensuring it is managed in a thoroughly professional manner. You will be a member of the Innogy Reward Centre of Expertise team, and the UK HR Leadership Team.

Skills and experience You will have a broad expertise in all Compensation, Benefits & Pension related topics with a detailed understanding of the associated business drivers in each area

Ability to leverage specialist knowledge in defining solutions in the best interest of the business

whilst adhering to Group wide principles

Experience of working with national / regional negotiating bodies

Strong negotiation skills and proved ability to influence outcomes

Ability to make independent decisions in line with organisational priorities

Highly capable of managing complex internal and external stakeholders

Strong leadership and management skills for a complex team over multiple locations in a matrix structure.

Detailed knowledge of the regulatory framework governing UK DB and DC pension schemes

Detailed understanding of Actuarial methods and assumptions, Financial implications and Risk

management associated with managing UK DB and DC pension schemes

Experience of managing a significant DB scheme

Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively

Likely to have been educated to degree level or its professional equivalent
