PROPOSAL: Industrial Water/Waste Water Project Manager Careers - Blackhawk, CO
To provide a range of custom-tailored operations and maintenance solutions at our client's Treatment Plant. The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the project including: permit compliance, safety, quality, and client relationship management and will also provide leadership and management for all personnel functions including staffing, compensation, training and development, progressive discipline, rewards and recognition, and termination in accordance with standard company policy. The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance, and improvement of the facility r facilities that he/she manages. Our Project Manager must hold a current Colorado Industrial Treatment certification and metal treatment.
Our Project Managers:
•Implement Operations and Maintenance safety policy and procedures
•Maintain the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies
•Develop and administer the project financial plan and budget
•Provide leadership in O&M quality process
•Follow company policy and procedure
•Must have demonstrated technical writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with project management, site staff and the Client
•Are familiar with wastewater and water process control
•Perform other duties as required

The minimum qualifications for this position are:
Basic Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED
•Minimum 6-8 years experience in the operation and maintenance of a water/wastewater facility
• 2 to 4 years experience at a supervisory level
•Possess a valid driver's license
•Must be able to attain a 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certificate or have a current certificate
•Colorado Industrial Class "B" Industrial WW license

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
A.A. or A.S. degree or B.A. or B.S. degree in Engineering, Environmental Science Business Administration
•Colorado Industrial Class "A" Industrial WW license
•Level of certification, if any, required by the State; a one year grace period to attain certification is acceptable. Highest level of certification offered by the State desirable
•Proficient use of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
•Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed
•Excellent knowledge of project finance and bonus modeling process
