We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Instrumentation and Control Technician 2 at our Columbia, SC plant.

In this position, a Instrumentation and Control Technician 2 can expect to be responsible for the following:

•Effectively interpret technical manuals, P & ID drawings, loop sheets and cross-references, technical manuals, internet vendor and OEM files to analyze, troubleshoot and tune automated Instrumentation and process control loops
•Maintain  and troubleshooting PLCs and production equipment utilizing: Computers, Oscilloscopes, Digital multimeters, Documenting calibrators, HART communicators, All MT&E instrumentation for process and analytical systems required in a chemical / nuclear manufacturing facility.
•Write technical reports, work order comments, make computerized calibration entries and document personal time and attendance in a computerized maintenance management system.

•Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, process control instrumentation, analytical instrumentation and audio visual conference room systems in a timely manner.
•Work collaboratively with other project team members to complete goals.
•Ability to competently use oscilloscopes, DVMs, calibration equipment including the physical and electronic sensors of all types required to perform those tasks as well as full plant calibrations and safety significant interlocks in the nuclear fuels manufacturing environment.
•Documenting the above, as well as the As Found and As Left calibration results and repairs completed into the appropriate calibration systems, computerized maintenance management system(s) and Quality Control System(s).
 lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, Pass vision exam and not be color blind.
•Must be able and willing to travel as much as 10% of the time.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

•High School diploma
*Associates of Science degree specifically in the field of Process Instrumentation and Electronics Technology this is a minimum requirement.
•For Instrumentation and Controls(I&C) Technician II the minimum experience of five years as an I&C Technician in a commercial industrial manufacturing environment is required.
•Skilled in computer operation and repair
•Skilled user of MS Office 2010 and higher
•Certified to NFPA 70E Qualified Worker or higher is a plus.
•Demonstratable ability to read and follow directions of complex documents containing safety, operational, and maintenance procedures.
*Ability to strictly interpret and comply with provided instructions, process flow schematics, electrical/pneumatic and instrumentation drawings, elevation drawings, standards, regulations and MSDS documents, among others.

Experience with electrical control panel fabrication including layout, assembly, wiring and configuration
