Siemens Postal, Parcel & Airport Logistics LLC is a provider of logistics industry products and solutions. The business comprises a comprehensive portfolio in mail & parcel logistics and automation, airport logistics with baggage handling and air cargo, as well as service offerings supporting our customers with maintenance, operation and optimization.  Our customers are airports & airlines, courier express parcel providers, the US Postal Service and commercial postal service providers.

Job Description
Completes implementation and maintenance of Engineering Change Notice System for product improvements, repairs and new product development.
-Manages the effective interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations and marketing to ensure all changes are documented for audit purpose (may include FDA, ISO, IEEE).
-Completes development of systems for and maintains engineering drawings and reproductions, project reports, specifications, product proposals and related documentation.
-Performs Document Control processes to ensure all Procedures are properly documented, updated as needed and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
-Performs product testing and debugging and works with developers to resolve.
-Works directly with customers and engineers on complex issues that are unable to be resolved by the first line of technical support staff.
- Sufficient knowledge and experience with Network Operations.
-Possess basic knowledge on electronics and mechanical
- Electrical Blue print reading
- Experience with SAP system
- Technical writing skills
-Performs complex product support to customers remotely via telephone & e-mail documents accordingly.
-Completes on-site and in-house troubleshooting for complex products and other related products to customers.
-Performs in active programs to increase customer satisfaction.
-Performs in disseminating complex product knowledge.
-Performs in recommending complex product needs of the customer to product design group.
-Completes coordination for new product introductions as they relate to product support.
-Covers help desk when assigned

BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Certification may be required in  some areas.

Typically 2-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.  
Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.

Job will require up to 40 percent travel
