Reporting directly to the CMO of GE Power Digital Solutions, the Sr Director Marketing Strategy role is a key member of commercial leadership team responsibility and accountability for defining go to market strategies, executing strategic growth activities, driving thought leadership and delivering on market and competitive intelligence.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Aggressively fuel GE Power Digital Solutions growth and
    deliver business performance through thought leadership and drive for superior

Marketing Go to Market Strategy
  • Manages the Segmentation, Targeting and Positioning for GE
    in the Power & Utility industry
  • Works closely with the product marketing teams to establish
    and execute against product-market fit.
  • Ensures an actionable segmentation strategy is in place and
    linked to a modern database to track customer at an account and asset level
    tied to customer outcomes.

Strategic Execution
  • Integrate customer, market and competitive insights and
    analytics to fuel portfolio strategy-resulting in marketing programs and driving
    sales effectiveness and product roadmaps
  • Support strategic initiatives into the execution phase by
    being a key integrator, bringing key stakeholders together to make decisions with
    efficiency and effectiveness
  • Serve as a key marketing stakeholder in defining innovation
    for new and existing products and offerings
  • Develop competitive framework grounded in comprehensive
    market and category assessments.
  • Identifies and integrates key marketing metrics and KPIs for
    the category and brand that enables leadership to make critical and timely decisions
    for marketing investment.

Thought Leadership
  • Actively develop relationship and execution of influencer
    strategy with key industry associations (e.g. EPRI, EEI, etc.) as well as IT analysts (e.g. Gartner, Forrester, etc.)
  • Develop and evangelize GE's point of view on digital
    transformation of the electricity value network.


Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree is required, MBA is preferred
  • 10-15+ years' marketing work experience in one or more of
    the following:
  • Strategic planning at blue chip consumer facing portfolio,
  • Management consulting at top tier consulting firm with Power
    & Utility expertise
