The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for managing capital projects, providing guidance on repair projects, and assisting with the maintenance plan.

  • Understand the process of a testing and maintenance program
  • Work collaboratively with management, technicians, and on-site client to complete projects and exceed client expectations
  • Revise work instructions and procedures
  • Provide technical input into prospective capital projects
  • Working hands-on and enjoy getting their hands dirty


Project Deliverables

  • Recommend facility improvement needs
  • Investigate, document, and present need of equipment critical spares
  • Record and investigate results of PM's and CM's
  • Record and perform root cause analysis of asset failures
  • Record downtime and man hours to repair
  • Communicate project changes to management and client
  • Technical consultant to craft labor
  • Technical consultant to operations support (Test Engineers)

  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience
  • Minimum 3 years of facility maintenance experience
  • Excellent English skills (oral, reading, writing and listening)
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with others
  • Expert with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project)
  • Experience with instrumentation related to test and facility equipment
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills
  • Exceptional leadership skills and proven record
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good collaboration skills, able to work with multiple people and manage a variety of projects simultaneously

Monday through Friday and occasional weekends, 100%.

Day shift and possible off shift one weekend a month

Critical for employee to be on time on a regular basis.

Work hours are normally 8 hours per day and 5 days per week, Monday-Friday. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

Other Essential Functions

Must pass a drug screen, Background check, and Health Performance Evaluation. Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer ' s locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.
