Position Description
Saudi Aramco offers experienced engineers the opportunity to develop and manage world-class fields. We are looking for experienced professionals to join us at our Northern Area Production Engineering Department (NAPED) in Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia to manage some of the world's largest off-shore gas wells.

Our production engineers manage unique high pressure, high rate gas wells and fields, fitted with new technologies, highly specialized downhole equipment and surface production facilities.

This senior technical role requires an expert in gas production engineering to provide expert advice and guidance to the business of well completions, well production, well integrity and well interventions.

This position is embedded within the NAPED and, as a senior technical specialist in gas production engineering, will engage with leaders and experts from across the upstream business.

Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate should hold a bachelor degree in petroleum engineering; or equivalent, from a recognized and approved program. A training history of appropriate specialized courses and seminars is expected. Technical publications are valued but in-depth practical experience is paramount.

You must have minimum of 10 years of related experience including at least 7 years in gas production engineering.

Ability to communicate ideas clearly with specialists in producing operations, reservoir management, well intervention, and drilling.

Extensive working knowledge of gas wells completions and operations

Duties and Responsibilities
You will be expected to be able to perform the following:

Provide/Implement production guidelines for safe operation of high pressure, high rate gas wells to meet high gas demand while maintaining well integrity.

Prepare detailed well intervention job programs and supervise jobs in the field to obtain required well/reservoir performance data.

Perform production optimization activities to ensure reliability and optimum well performance.

Participate in project technical review to ensure efficient/economic project delivery.

Champion new technologies aimed at improving well productivity and streamlining efficiency.

Conduct seminars; prepare manuals, mentor and train young engineers and operating personnel.

Lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams.

Participate in technical societies and technical groups.
