In this high-impact role, you will be in charge of the sourcing and procurement strategy for our corporate Marketing and Communications functions. You'll focus on maximizing quality, delivery and reliability of suppliers and supplied products/services as well as reducing supply costs for categories such as Marketing Services (market research, web agencies, creative services, etc.), Marketing Materials, and other services for our Communications function (marketing agencies, web services, printing, brand consulting, etc.). You will manage an annual purchasing volume in the three-digit million range and cover all European countries in which ABB is present. You will thereby interact with the Marketing and Communications teams at Group, regional and divisional level, and ensure alignment with our Branding and Supply Base Management guidelines and strategies.

Tasks:
STRATEGIC SOURCING
- Select SCM and non SCM category team members to cover assigned spend area

- Ensure that the Marketing sourcing projects are executed in a meaning full and pragmatic manner

- Facilitate strategy review meetings involving internal clients from Marketing & Communications

- Define category strategies and manage the execution of the respective category plans

- Consolidate the supplier base in a sustainable way

SOURCING EXECUTION (RFI/ RFQ)
- Drive RFIs and RFQs and manage the assigned project team

- Ensure that the ABB eSourcing tool gets leveraged whenever feasible

- Define RFQ processes and negotiation strategies

- Ensure that contracts for preferred suppliers are based on ABB's terms and conditions and filed in ABB's contract management system

SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY
- Actively manage supplier portfolio (evaluation, classification) and run regular review meeting

- Solve cost/quality/scheduling issues and runs claim management (when escalated)

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Ensure target achievement according to the IM&S operational dashboard (especially cost reduction/avoidance and customer satisfaction)

- Develop the category team to a high performing organization

Requirements:
- University degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- At least 5 years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement and category management for Marketing services in an international organization
- Extensive experience in Negotiation Management
- Very good understanding of Contract Management
- Extensive knowhow in Supplier Management
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and excellent presentation skills.
