The Commissioning Role expectations are as below:

The Individual should have the ability to commission Water and Waste Water treatment plants
Adequate understanding of the various unit operations is mandatory
Should have the aptitude to solve and trouble shoot
Should have the ability to work with Cross Functional teams

Should have relevant experience of Minimum 4-5 years from the Same Industry

Essential Responsibilities

The Leader - Commissioning develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. • Accurately commission the systems and perform all acceptances testing to ensure correct system performance
• Follow-up customer issues and performs necessary troubleshooting and corrective measures
• Prompt closure of field issues, interfacing with engineering on known issues and solutions, and promptly issuing feedback to the product development teams
• Coordinating field efforts in order to support the new product introductions and the validation of these products during field trials
• Particular emphasis on real time data acquisition and database applications


• Bachelor"s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of business or engineering experience)
• At least 3 additional years of experience in a project management, engineering or related role.

• Willingness and ability to travel globally 90% of the time
• Fluent in English
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have a valid passport and the ability to travel internationally

Desired Characteristics

• GE Leadership Development program (PMDP, PMLP, OMLP, JOLP, RELP or equivalent)
• Demonstrated success in a matrix environment
• Working knowledge of SCADA / ICS systems and real time control design and implementation
• Experience in operating user interfaces for real-time and historical data
• Experience in software, particularly Delphi, C / C++, VB, or SQL
• Understanding of the electric utility industry
• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to lead in cross-functional and global team environments
• Ability to quickly establish credibility with internal and end-user customers
• Ability to solve problems under time pressure and rigorous quality and process focus
• High energy level - self-starter.
• Technical knowledge of product lines and associated systems.
• Microsoft suite proficiency.
• Six Sigma training (GE employees only).
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leaderships skills
