Following a recent internal announcement, which communicated the growth of the npower back office structure we are extending multiple management roles to the external market.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a high profile team with some exciting challenges ahead.

Please note this vacancy is known internally as Data and Consumption Reconciliation Manager.

Role description Reporting to the Head of Asset and Industry the Data and Consumption Reconciliation Manager will deliver an industry differentiating cost control position through proactive management of the Electricity Data and Consumption Reconciliation and Gas data Reconciliation process.

This is an integral part of npower Domestic delivering a market leading customer proposition; the role holder also has a key responsibility in identifying upstream issues in BAU processes that cause downstream RL or Settlement issues, again in conjunction with Business Change and Revenue Assurance these should be quantified and progressed through to resolution.

You will:

Lead a team of both operational and analytical resource to deliver enhanced Settlements and Billing performance.

Deliver multi million pound Revenue Leakage mitigation each year.

Manage complex interdependencies with a number of functions.

Deliver Nexus Industry change, ensuring correct target operating models are in place for gas, along with appropriate governance and reporting.

Skills and experience: Working knowledge of utilities industry, coupled with a detailed knowledge of electricity and Gas industry registration processes, E2E settlement process and Data Collection / Meter Operation Agency service provision.

Experience of managing operational / analytical teams in a target driven, customer-facing and industry facing environment.

Ability to oversee and interpret complex analysis.

Ability to manage conflicting priorities (business, partners and peers) utilising proven stakeholder management skills

Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate those around to achieve stretching targets

Good coaching and support skills with the ability to recognise and develop individuals potential.

Previous experience driving and delivering against long term strategy

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Excellent IT skills (including good working knowledge of all MS Office systems, especially MS Access

Keen financial management skills.
