Jacobs is the lead contractor providing EPCM services for the Oyu Tolgoi Underground Project. This contract is worth $2.8b of surface and infrastructure works and will see us leading the way for over 6 years to deliver this project successfully and safely.

We are now seeking applications from suitably experienced Contract Administrators to establish, lead and drive compliance with established procedures relating to tendering, evaluation, award of contracts and contract administration. Essentially leading negotiations and assuming responsibility for the overall management and leadership of the Contracts team assigned to the project.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager this role is responsible for administering all the contracts on the project site ensuring that contractual matters are properly & effectively negotiated, documented & implemented according company standards. This role is based on site at Oyu Tolgoi Mine and will be on a fly in, fly out roster - 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

Knowledge and Experience includes:

• Significant experience in Contracts Administrations and Management preferably in large projects

• Interfacing with Managers on site in regards to contractual matters and support services

• Maintaining detailed documentation for all aspects of contract performance including contract registers, client approvals, preparation and execution of Contract Variations

• Self-motivated with demonstrated communication, team building and client relationship skills

• Ability to take initiative in providing advice with contractual queries, issues, changes as requested

• Ability to administer and manage contracts in accordance with Company principles, practices and procedures

• Ability to communicate and consult with key stakeholders and report on performance of contracts to project teams and the Company

• Proven experience in the administration of contracts & contractors
