LeighFisher, a global airport management consulting firm and aviation thought-leader, is seeking outstanding candidates with strong technical and quantitative skills to work on cutting-edge projects within our Airport Facilities Planning practice.

Potential project opportunities include:

• Work with our project teams to develop airport master plans

• Develop programs and plans for airfield, terminal, access, and parking facilities

• Model and simulate activity in airport terminals, roadways, and runway/taxiway systems

• Assess impacts of transportation networking companies (i.e. Uber, Lyft) on airport ground access

• Develop software tools to analyze aviation-related data and to effectively communicate the results of these analyses

• Conduct strategic and integrated environmental, sustainability, and climate change assessments

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise with members of LeighFisher's management consulting team.

The position is expected to be located in our Burlingame, CA office and focus on clients in North America.

Successful candidates will need to meet the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrated passion for aviation
  • Completed a Masters degree (preferred) or four-year undergraduate degree program (minimum) in engineering, architecture, operations research, computer science, or related field of study
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (required)
  • Experience with AutoCAD, SQL, R, Python, VBA, or transportation simulation software (preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superb analytical, qualitative and strategic thinking and decision making capabilities
  • Flexible and capable of succeeding in various work environments - collaborative, highly resourceful, team-oriented, and self-directed
  • Willing to travel up to 15%
