Serve as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the Weapon Systems Center for Integration (WSCI) Program. The candidate will be working with System Administrators (SA), Senior Information Assurance Security Officers (ISSO), Senior Program stakeholders, multiple Program Managers and a WSCI strategist to develop, coordinate, scope, and manage Certification & Accreditation (C&A) compliance and identified information system (IS) enclave security posture for various boundaries consolidated into overarching master boundaries. In addition to C&A package development, the candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations as an ISSO. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • Assisted with the consolidation of IA boundaries.

  • Assisted in the development and maintenance of all required documentation, including but not limited to the certification and accreditation documentation required for the client's systems.

  • Communicate with customers as required to obtain necessary information

  • Maintain a basic knowledge of all IT systems, system functional requirements, hardware and software within the client's enclave

  • Manage time and prioritize tasks

  • Assist with maintaining RMF documentation in eMASS

  • Report assigned project status to contractor and government leads.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date tracking status of all assigned projects in identified databases.

  • Assist with maintaining DADMS information for client's software.

  • Assist clients with developing and maintaining IA and IT programs required to establish and maintain compliance with DoD directives.

  • Ensures IA and IA-enabled software, hardware and firmware comply with appropriate security configuration guides.

  • Provide status updates of assigned duties to the Department Information Assurance Manager (DIAM) and Cybersecurity Division as required.

  • Respond to all applicable data calls, CTO's, FRAGO's, IAVA's ,etc within the requested timeframe.

  • Attend NAWCWD Cybersecurity Workforce Meetings, Division Staff Meetings as well as Embed ISSO Team meetings.
High School diploma required. Position requires two (2) years of college work in a computer or technical discipline, five (5) years of experience in a data processing environment (or equivalent combination of education, specialized training and experience), and a current CompTIA Security+ certification. Must be able to prioritize tasks, deliver solutions on time and work independently and on teams. Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, track, manage, learn new skills, and communicate orally and in writing is required. It is preferred that a candidate have at least one year of experience under the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and has a familiarity with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS). Technical familiarity with Windows 7 Enterprise/Ultimate, Mac OS, and Linux is also preferred. A good understanding of Information Technology as it relates to Information Assurance/Cyber Security is essential. Proficiency with using the Internet and with Microsoft Office products including e-mail, Word, Excel, Access and Project is required. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) is required.

This position is a Jacobs's position and may be assigned to a teammate company (eLe, NDTI).

• Normal hours are Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm, non-flex Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm
