As the NPI & Core Services Product Manager, you are responsible for The Global Product Line organization which is one of three organizational pillars in Power Services and is responsible for global volume, profitability & growth in terms of market share, TAS, SAS. The product lines will develop the global product roadmap and deliver a competitive product portfolio to support growth.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of NPI & Core Services Product Manager, you will also manage and plan technology investments, commercialize new products and lead complex or 1st-time projects in co-operation with the regions. The Product Lines will define the capability, resource and industrial footprint requirements and ensure that the regions have appropriate resources. The H Fleet Product Line represents $1B of annual backlog growth for Power Services. The H Fleet PL organization is in charge of the global strategy definition, implementation and business results for the H and HA platforms. The NPI & Core Services Product Manager is a critical role on the H team where you will have significant opportunity to demonstrate your creative problem-solving, technical, commercial, communication and process skills in a complex, global and fast-paced environment. This person will be accountable to deliver on-time and on-budget execution and commercialization of the H NPI deck. In addition, this person will be responsible to increase competitiveness in core services as well as drive cost and productivity programs.

The NPI & Core Services Product Manager will be accountable for:

  • On-time and on-budget NPI project execution and commercialization
  • NPI deck S2 planning in collaboration with Product Managers, Product Systems Engineers and Services Engineers
  • Core services execution readiness for unplanned and planned events across the fleet
  • Identification and business case development for cost out and productivity opportunities
  • Execute NPI programs for the H fleet across cross-functional resources
  • Support campaigns and new NPI sales with ATQs/ATAs, budgetary price guidance, NPI penetration and experience lists and the generation of commercial collateral and training materials in collaboration with marketing and communications
  • Maintain product and core service competitive assessments working with the competitive intelligence team
  • Develop & execute integrated product line outage and event service strategy along a three-year horizon. Accountable to know/influence when events will occur, to build a differentiated strategy to win and optimize outcomes for our customers and to ensure offerings, material, etc. is defined and planned accordingly
  • Work with platform/frame managers to build specific outage scopes to maximize customer outcomes as well as revenue and margin per outage/event
  • Work collaboratively with regions and commercial teams as appropriate


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or business related discipline
  • A minimum 5 years experience on OEM Gas F-fleet and / or H-fleet Technology

Desired Characteristics

  • Product line experience
  • A minimum 4 years of experience in a leadership role within a product line, commercial or technical environment
  • Prior project management or NPI program management experience preferred
  • Prior experience in or working with services operational and execution teams preferred
  • Effective team building and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to "blue sky" - design product capabilities to solve problems, creativity
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including executive level presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a global environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of Product line technology, processes is a distinct advantage
  • Strong change agent with particular focus on executing efficiently in a complex, diverse and dynamic cross-functional global team
  • Outstanding technical, business & financial analysis skills
  • Deep knowledge of the power generation marketplace
