The Sr. Team Leader - Digital Solutions will be a key member of the IT CTO staff, and will build and lead a team focused on innovation in the areas of cloud and predix application architectures, and IT software automation.

Essential Responsibilities

The leader will be a highly motivated and experienced technology professional, and will be responsible for team development, recruiting and hiring contemporary software development talent, and leading the organization in creating innovative solutions for use by our enterprise IT organization.
In addition, the Sr Team Leader - Digital Solutions, you will:
  • Be responsible for managing direct reports and influencing a matrix team to innovate in the areas of cloud platform consumption including Predix
  • Be responsible for mentoring, coaching, and developing employees
  • Be responsible for defining a team structure capable of supporting the required technologies
  • Be responsible for management and oversight of internal and external suppliers in the delivery of required technologies
  • Lead a team in collaboration with other design, implementation, and operational teams to implement robust solutions that meet GE business needs


  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT roles in Fortune 500 scale organization
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership and/or architectural experience in database, web technologies, networking, software development or a combination thereof in a large Enterprise setting
  • Minimum of 3 years of leading teams of both employees and contractors, including senior technologists
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in an Enterprise setting

  • Ability to lead and drive decision making in an ever-changing technical environment; comfort with ambiguity
