The Parts ERP Deployment Leader will be responsible for directing and executing Power Services - Parts deployments of PowerMax SAP ERP solutions. The duties will include project planning and preparation, execution, and hand-over to support in a way that outcomes are delivered in the most cost effective manner. In this role, the Parts ERP Deployment Lead will work closely with Process Excellence teams as well as functional leaders from various business areas.

Essential Responsibilities

• Project Manager for deployments of the PowerMax SAP ERP across Power Services, Parts businesses. • Manage certain business areas / modules of the major ERP releases including scope management, risk mitigation/escalation, shared service coordination, etc., through all release phases: requirements gathering, design, build, test, training, go-live, stabilization, transfer to operations, post-go-live support.
• Coordinate with solution specialists, key users, leaders to achieve release scope, leveraging the change control process to keep scope within the boundaries of what can be accomplished in the release timeline.
• Own various Functional and IT deliverables & milestones, providing regular status updates throughout each release.
• Contribute to building and maintaining the project plan and deliverable trackers for the ERP releases, establishing all key milestones, and driving on-time completion of all deliverables.
• Coordinate with other adjacent programs (e.g., COA, SFDC/BM, PLM, etc.), partner teams (e.g., ES GAP), and shared services (e.g., Apex, Sabrix, IBS, GECARS, etc.) regarding project plan alignment, release milestones, scope, etc.
• Actively participate in the preparation of all tollgate documents and deliverables.
• Coordinate with the technical team to set up the dPMM (project management tool) structure for the release, and measure progress on all dPMM deliverables.
• PowerMax (PMx) SAP ERP -Work with the other ERP Deployment leaders to achieve successful deployment of global PMx ERP solutions in all Power Services Parts business entities. Become a subject matter expert in on some business areas.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure ongoing delivery & operational support of high quality, cost-effective services, including the Shared Services and central IM teams.
• Own issue / risk identification, escalation, resolution & communication to Functional & IT stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Coordinate closely with IT & functional leaders to coordinate business and end-user communications, leveraging GE and industry standard tools such as Colab, e-newsletters, Box, etc.
• Manage SOX / ISO / Other Corporate Initiatives as required.


• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university OR a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a non-related field with significant experience in Information Technology • Significant experience with major ERP projects (Oracle or SAP)

• PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP)® designation or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification
• ITLP Graduate (GE only)
