The Systems Integration Leader is a highly technical role that is responsible for leading our organization in the developing robust customer solution tools and automation. This role will directly or indirectly manage a team of engineers consisting of Systems Engineers, Human Factors Engineers, User Experience Specialist and Business Analysts and will lead the team in the development of cutting edge, high performance data analytics and asset performance management capabilities.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role you will:
  • Grow, develop and mentor leaders & technologists by
    attracting, training, and motivating top tier technical talent
  • Build & maintain expectations of ownership,
    accountability, customer focus and quality at the individual and team level
  • Foster technical collaboration between business teams at GE
    Corporate Research and other experts across the GE business units
  • Drive / Support technical integration of design engineering
    teams to help build one global Power Digital engineering group
  • Participate in strategic 3 year & short term planning
    for Multi Generation Technology Plans and required resource structure
  • Meet functional budgets, advocating for funding necessary to
    execute on deliverables to create value for our customers
  • Lead the design team to achieve & improve on-time
    execution of the deliverables through process simplification, while ensuring
    conformance to Power's design practices & procedures, assuring product
  • Lead cooperative research programs with universities to
    establish long term-sustained relationships that provide opportunities to
    recruit engineers with software engineering expertise
  • Drive "No excuses" leadership culture with
    integrity and EHS
  • Build and maintain expectations of ownership, customer focus,
    and quality at the individual and team level


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years engineering experience
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in design and implementation new
  • Minimum 5 years' management / leadership experience in a
    matrix structure organization

Desired Characteristics

  • Advanced degree and/or experience in Systems engineering, UX
    or Human factors
  • Experience in turbo machinery diagnostic systems
  • Experience with APM & data analytic support systems in
    the rotating equipment space
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills with the ability to
    influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Proven leadership capabilities with ability to motivate
    others and achieve results within a highly technical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and lead design &
