Are you passionate about pursuing a career in Service Sales working with wind power projects in EMEA South and LATAM? Join Vestas as a Service Sales and Account Management and become part of our Service Business Unit based in Spain but with an International scope.

Service sales and Account Management department is a part of our Service Business Unit and is responsible for servicing all aftermarket customers with spare parts and services of the wind turbines as well as managing the service contracts in place. The service business is a key growths area of Vestas and has ambitious targets to be achieved.
In order to achieve these targets we need a Key Account who can establish solid customer relations in Service Spain (which is part of the Western MED countries: Iberia, France and African emerging countries), in collaboration with the head of sales and the key account managers.

  • Develops and maintains relationships with existing customers; leverages relationship to ensure renewals of Service contracts
  • Defines common strategy in customer relationship management
  • Develops new business opportunities (added value services) and actively pursues recapture opportunities for lost accounts
  • Collaborates with sales department in the negotiation of new Service Contract and assists with service quotations (from the beginning of the process)
  • Assists with answering contractual questions from Customers, Sales Department and Area Supervisors
  • Deal with technical open cases resolution process (Proactive communication, regular meetings, close collaboration with Product Support Dpt., etc.)
  • Control budget and P&L's, responsible for LD's (incentive; variable price) negotiation
  • Prepare strategic account reports, records and tracks information from customers for analysis to prepare negotiation plans.
  • Develop cross collaboration with his/her counterpart from others SUs and SBU to ensure communication and policies alignments
  • Take part actively in Customer Loyalty Results and to develop the required improvements
  • Master/Bachelor degree in Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of exp. in selling services (any kind of services) doing service contract negotiation and customer support preferable in the Energy sector but others sectors like oil and gas will be also considered.
  • Based in Madrid;
  • Experienced on technical sales on industrial environment selling not only services but also products 50% and 50%.
  • Good understanding of business process improvements;
  • Skilled IT user, including Microsoft Office and are an advanced user of Excel;
  • Fluent in Spanish and English both written and orally. French will be a valued.
