Primary Job Responsibilities:

Work within project team and under supervision of the Resident Engineer on the Sound Transit Northgate Link project. Develops, implements, and manages cost and schedule solutions for the client using tools and methods consistent with Sound Transit standards. Prepare monthly analysis of contractor's schedule, develop monthly reporting on project progress, and perform analysis of delay events. Load, status, and maintain project controls systems and related records. This includes the initial set up and monthly updating/analysis using multiple project controls systems (cost and schedule), developing and loading supplemental spreadsheets for pricing, changes, ETCs, and special analysis and reports as required.
Training and Experience:

  • 7 + years of experience required
  • BA or BS or related experience.
  • Must have experience using Primavera Project Planner and MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Other Essential Functions:

Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights. No exposure to tobacco smoke.
