ENERCON Services Inc., doing business for the Federal Government through our wholly owned subsidiary, ENERCON Federal Services (EFS), provides engineering and environmental services to many branches of the Federal Government. With extensive experience in engineering design, nuclear safety, decommissioning and environmental services, we are actively supporting large and small projects throughout the DOE complex. EFS also has current experience supporting operations and decommissioning efforts at US Army Corps of Engineers and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) facilities.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Quality Engineer to represent ENERCON at a customer site in Amarillo, TX (Pantex). This position requires an Active Q Clearance.

Primary duties will include:
• Manages complex, multi-discipline engineering services (both internal and subcontracted) and component or bulk material procurement in support of Pantex projects.
• May be assigned to support a specific plant organization for all of its engineering needs, including projects and minor non-project) modifications and studies and/or matrixed to a single or multiple project manager(s) for the engineering effort associated with capital or expense-funded activities.
• Ensures the Engineering organization's performance of the established scope of work and directs development, maintenance, and execution of a project/task technical work scope within budget and schedule.
• Approves all design deliverables and ensures that ail technical input requirements are considered and incorporated and that reviews for constructability, acceptability, operability, maintainability, and safety have taken place. etc., are performed.
• Ensures that any necessary technical support and supporting technical documentation (e.g., permits, safety/criticality/analysis, etc.) by other organizations are provided and supportive of Engineering's deliverables and schedule.
• Interfaces with systems and process or product engineers to ensure manufacturing and operating facilities needs are met.
• May lead studies, investigations, and analyses as requested by a facility manager, system owner, or systems engineering and make technical presentations to managers and customers.
• Assists in the planning and execution of testing, start-up, and readiness activities.

Minimum Requirements:
• BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline plus over 10 years of related experience
• Current Active DOE Q Clearance REQUIRED
• Experience working Commercial Grade Dedication issues per NQA-1; such as, identifying and writing technical evaluations for critical characteristics of components.
