Customer Engineering Administrator support - Full Time - temp NAME:

DIVISION:

Customer Engineering

LOCATION: Worcester

REPORTS TO: UK&I Maintenance Manager                          

Hours 37.5 8am - 5pm

Duration: 3 months until Feb 17.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide administration support to the UKI Customer Engineering team as required.

Duties include but not restricted to :-

O To telephone customers to book in planned technicians workload (50%)

o Use departmental PC tools, such as SAP and web based programs, to assist with the scheduling process of assigning work to technicians (20%)

o To telephone technicians to discuss up and coming workload (5%)

o To provide telephone support to answer calls from customers, technicians, internal and external staff (5%)

o To liaise where necessary with various contractors to assign or review engineering related activities (2.5%)

o Management of Non Personal Mailboxes (5%)

o Answer queries from Sales/colleagues regarding progress of service orders (2.5%)

o To assist with office based administrative tasks to include filing and  scanning of departmental paperwork (10%)

Most contacts are internal and face to face or via e-mail - there is NO external Customer Contact and very little telephone contact

               

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

O Strong Administrative Skills

O Excellent communication skills and ability to converse with Technicians, Contractors and Customers

O High level of accuracy whilst processing high volumes of potentially repetitive tasks

O Strong PC skills - Microsoft Office (essential), SAP (Desirable although training will be given)

O Ability to manage own workload and share workload within the team

O Ability to become part of a small but very inter dependant team of colleagues
