Currently we are looking for a SCADA System Engineer to join our Global Delivery Center team. The goal of the Global Delivery Center is to build up a strong organization to deliver high quality work in support of all Network Control project deliveries. The newly established team is responsible for: developing and improving standard work required for implementing Network Control solutions; supporting global projects; working with local country staff and global partners to ensure a positive customer experience is met and the results over-achieved; collaboration with the product development teams in Krakow and elsewhere to drive improvements in quality and on time delivery.

• Configure NM SCADA/DMS/EMS applications based on project documentation and customer data;
• Design HMI displays and configure electric system data models in NM SCADA/DMS/EMS;
• Configure communication networks between devices using industry standard communication protocols such as DNP3.0, IEC870-5-101/104, TASE.2 and others;
• Configure network devices like RTU, Gateway;
• Create or assist in the writing of system functional description, user documentation, instructions and procedures;
• Assist in the designing, testing, and deploying of business applications;
• Assist in problem solving and providing solutions;
• Cooperate with other teams in different business units and locations.

• Degree in electrical/automation/electronics engineering;
• Fluent English;
• Ability to read electrical documentation (schemes, diagrams, SLD, etc.);
• Experience with SCADA systems and programming;
• Knowledge of database and database management tools (PL/SQL, SQL Developer)
• Knowledge of industry standard communication protocols such as DNP3.0, IEC870-5-101/104, TASE.2 and others is preferred;
• Basic understanding of Operating systems (Windows and Linux);
• Basic knowledge of electrical power engineering;
• Knowledge of advanced management systems functions (State Estimator, Power Flow, etc.) would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC61850, IEC61968/970 would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of industry model standards would be an advantage;
• Knowledge of power system models would be an advantage.
