For our Business Unit Power Conversion based in Valdarno (AR), we are looking for a Sales Specialist for Photovoltaic Products (PVP) who will increase the PVP Solar product, project and service business by supporting the Local Solar Sales organizations in profitable PVP market development and sales target achievement.

As PVP Sales Specialist, your main accountabilities are:
Sales strategy & targets: Participate in regional and local sales strategy discussions. Support the Global Product Group in determining and negotiating the Local Product Group's PVP sales targets. Support the local sales organization in building and improving PVP sales plans.
Marketing: Collect customer needs and competitor offers through general market information and information provided by local Sales organization. Work jointly with the Marketing team to ensure efficient marketing actions (e.g. product launches, MarCom Campaigns) and communication to local Sales organization and customers
Sales Management & support: Ensure support to the local Sales organization in determining appropriate customer solutions, in the preparation of demanding offers, and in customer meetings when required.
Establish appropriate metrics and measurements tools to monitor Local PVP performance. Perform regular status reviews and supports the definition of recovery plans in cases of potential shortfalls.
Responsible for defining the PVP transfer prices and offered portfolio of products, packages and service to local Sales organization focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets aligned with the Global Product Group.
Reporting: Provide regular reports and analysis of the global PVP sales activities and performance.

To cover this role you need to have degree in Engineering or Business Administration. A very strong sales experience including sales management / leading sales teams, working in a matrix organizational environment within an international business environment. Fluent in English and experience of working in virtual teams across different regions. Strong customer and market orientation, preferably in Solar.
Regular travelling is required.
