Job Description
Lead and be proficient at the following:
• Promote and "Live" "ZERO HARM" safety culture.
• Oversee construction operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensure that work is done safely, on time, within budget and to the right quality standards.• Initially prepare for temporary facilities.• Monitor progress and sort out any problems which could hold up work as they arise.
• Keep close contact with members of the site construction staff
• Keep the Site Manager updated regularly on progress. • Be the lead contact with our construction partners.
• Make sure that the deadline for completing work is met.• Make sure the plan for work each day is clearly understood by all parties, including all potential safety risks.
• Manage the interface between construction and commissioning with respect to the Turn Over Package (TOP) Process, ECC Packages and Punchlists.
• Notify and schedule vendor representatives and equipment/system specialists. Approve time sheets as applicable.
• Be well-organized, a problem solver and prepared for responsibility and decision making.• Strong people skills are a requirement. • Communicate, manage and motivate people at all levels.
• Other responsibilities include:
• Understand and review the project schedule to thoroughly understand the intended plan.• Meet contractual conditions of performance.• Ensure erection/inspection/test compliance with engineering/vendor requirements.• Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.

• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging issues.
• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks.
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

• Act as the Site Manager when the Site Manager and Site Commissioning Manager are not on site.

• Core Requirements:

• Proven working experience in construction management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Advanced knowledge of construction materials, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
• Familiarity with construction management software systems.
• Ability to plan and see the "big picture"
• Competent in conflict and crisis management skills
• Leadership and human resource management skills
• Excellent time and project management skills

*Travel 100 percent international and some domestic.
he first project will be in Chile.

Preferred Candidate will be Bilingual Spanish/English
