As part of the Siemens PLM Omneo organization, this position will be a key part of advancing the state of the art relative to IoT, big data, machine learning, and performance analytics.  We rely on infrastructure engineers to work collaboratively with software developers to define, deploy, and maintain high performance, secure environments with service levels that delight our customers.  Reporting to the manager of the Omneo SaaS Operations, you will be part of a seven person team that is rolling out new tools and processes that include source code management, deployment, multi-tenancy, localization, monitoring, security, elasticity, and cost optimization leveraging IaaS offerings including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure.


This role has key responsibilities in defining, planning, implementing, and operating IT infrastructure and processes that meet or exceed the Omneo service level and CI/CD objectives.  Key deliverables include IaaS environments that meet service level agreement; support the resource requirements of the development, QA, and customer value realization teams; enable CI/CD; meet compliance and best practice standards; and are well documented. Working with other Omneo team members, this position will:
•Maintain a 24x7, global, highly available SaaS environment according to internal and external service levels agreements.
•Ensure the Omneo Production Environment is operating in accordance with established procedures and best practices.
•Deliver improvements to source code management, deployment, operations, maintenance, cost control, security, monitoring, and audit tools and processes.
•Contribute to IT strategy planning, design, implementation, and maintenance activities.
•Implement and maintain CI/CD tools and processes to support development, QA, and customer value realization teams.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

•Bachelor's Degree with at least 7+ years of IT experience (5+ years with Master's Degree)
*Experience deploying and maintain AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, CodeDeploy, EBS, Lambda, etc.
•IT admin experience with enterprise level environments for 3+ years
•Strong scripting/programming skills
•Expertise in either Linux or Windows server administration
•Experience deploying and maintain Cloud/IaaS environments
•Experience with load balancing, failover, and disaster recovery strategies, plans, and implementations
•Experience with security authentication and authorization
•Experience with deployment and monitoring/alert systems

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

•AWS experience and certifications
•Hadoop, Solr, Spark experience
•CloudFormation, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or equivalent tools
