Job Description
This position is to be filled in the Technology and Innovation-Engineering service division (PS PG TI EN AM). Specifically the Auxiliaries and Control division.

• Read, understand, troubleshoot and develop control logic in the various control system Siemens utilizes (i.e. T3000, TXP and WDPF)
• Customer order Engineering (COE) for Mods and Upgrades Products specifically regarding auxiliaries components.
• Basic understanding of the control system hardware, its various components, the network infrastructure, and security related issues with a DCS system
• Candidate will be expected to operate across traditional disciplinary boundaries (e.g. Controls and Electrical working on Mechanical issues)
• The candidate must be able and willing to mentor less experienced engineers on the team where applicable
• Candidate shall also demonstrate strong communication skills with an ability to represent Siemens in customer discussions
• Previous controls platform testing and process simulation experience is a plus

• 5-8 years of related work experience as an Engineer
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• The candidate should have controls design experience with focus on Gas Turbine control/operations
• Experience with Siemens Gas Turbine Auxiliary systems and components
• Experience in system design and troubleshooting, component sizing and selection and working with vendors
• Candidate shall also have knowledge and working experience of Siemens control philosophy for Gas Turbine operation, including an ability to troubleshoot operating issues and design Modifications and Upgrade products
• Competency in working with Siemens design process, including Information Systems and Design Reviews, is required as well
