Job Description
Position Overview:

The Strategic Marketing Consultant will be part of Large Drives (LD) Business Unit, responsible for the initiatives focused on growth, operational excellence, innovation and people culture.  The ideal candidate will have experience facilitating cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes with exposure to LD Senior Management and presentations to HQ Business Development.


•Support of LD programs.  Facilitate teams to execute initiatives and provide updates to senior management on status of program.
•Conduct strategic marketing studies that are needed for the segment, make recommendations based on data and work with business segments to prepare business cases
Develop and execute a cohesive marketing program for IDS that can reposition motor/drive combinations from Siemens as best in class and technology forerunners
•Analyze markets, market share, heat maps, market transparency and develop/ create meaningful dashboards and presentations to tell the big picture story.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education & Experience:

•Pro-actively manage schedules and deliverable due dates
•Ability to do detailed research and data analysis and draw conclusions from disparate data sources
•Knowledge with tool development for businesses
•Large Drives market and product knowledge
•Strong communication and presentation skills
•BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
