Job Description
Solution Architect:


Work with sales and pursuit managers to develop solution proposals during the presales stage. Develop solution designs for implementations. Monitor the technical quality of the services delivery and lead the technical teams.

Reports to:

Services Director for Automotive,


-Up to 50% travel
-Travel mainly within upper Mid-West (e.g. Michigan, Ohio, Indiana) but geography extends to all USA.
-Some overseas travel possible when working global deals

1. Align technical solution to customer's business requirements
2. Provide technical mentorship and leadership for project teams
3. Help with in pursuing services revenue
4. Assist sales team with software sales

-College degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required for this position
-7 to 10 years experience in implementing Software projects in PLM space - Teamcenter required
-Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
-Ability to lead group discussions
-Ability to lead people in a matrix organization
-Ability to manage multiple concurrent accounts and/or projects
-Industry experience in Automotive, or Heavy Equipment Manufacturing experience preferred (e.g. mBOM, BOP implementation experience)
Strong consultative or process background.

Must currently be on an active H1-B visa, possess a Green Card or be a US Citizen

1. Work with pursuit manager to estimate cost, timing and scope and develop an implementation strategy and scope proposal
2. Work with sales, and technical consulting to develop and present implementation PLM solutions and infrastructure architectures
3. Lead project teams during alignment and develop technical designs
4. Mentor implementation consultants to develop and document best practices and promote knowledge sharing
5. Coordinate with product development to resolve critical issues, communicate customer product enhancements and align implementations to product roadmaps.

Technical Skills:

Programming/Tools:  C, C++, , Java, JSP, SML, Eclipse, XML.  Teamcenter BMIDE and ITK required
