Job Description
Position Overview

Gas Turbine Spare & Repair order entry for the Charlotte Gas Turbine facility and order entry/coordination for service components:

•Manage orders placed on Gas Turbine Order Management by internal customers from a technical clarification and logistical perspective from order receipt to delivery
•Effectively handle large scope orders/programs with complex scope and/or contractual requirements and significant commercial and/or financial risk Single point of contact for internal customer as well as for the Order Execution department of the Gas Turbine organization
•Single point of contact for all questions regarding P/Os placed by Service Sales on Gas Turbine Order Management
•Takes ownership of every assigned spare part and/or repair order from a logistically, technical, and manufacturing perspective


•Proactively advise internal customers regarding possible spare parts / modification / upgrade needs for Gas Turbine component repairs
•Analyze complex technical/unit configuration problems
•Advise sales and marketing department in regards to technical spare part and factory repair questions
•Technically clarify all incoming orders and Repair RFQs, i.e. evaluate the valid style number, and perform the necessary OM processes in the Gas Turbine SAP system.
•Coordinate the clarification with Engineering and Manufacturing, where applicable
•Analyze outage reports and field feedback reports
•Obtain detailed technical input and repair scope from internal customer to translate into CS Notifications including detailed repair scope for W & V-frame components
•Obtain technical input from Engineering and / or Gas Turbine Manufacturing Plant(s) to ensure accuracy of scope description. Interface with internal customer to obtain possible / necessary order changes, repair schedule adjustment as well as spare part coverage for the Gas Turbine plant
•Coordinate with planer group, supply management, manufacturing and order management the repair schedule based on capacity, spare part availability and contractual requirements.
•Create detailed findings and repair reports
•Coordinate customer witness points with internal & external customer and operations.
•Oversee configuration control process (initiate mark up of records, consistency of records, follow up on field feedback and record cleansing.
•Answer WRITs in regards to repair clarification from internal customer and related technical configuration issues.
•Process work flow items in PCM
•Ensure spare part readiness for repairs purchase resale to internal customers

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

•BS in Engineering Field
•       2-5 years of related work experience.
•In-depth knowledge of Gas Turbine Order Management Process Landscape
•Product knowledge of Gas Turbine components for E, F, G and H class.
•Familiar with modification processes including engineering change management (PCM BSol, SSol)
•In-depth Knowledge of the SAP processes in regards to repair & order processes
•In-depth Knowledge of PCM, Team Center, Microsoft office applications. WRIT system, MS office
•In-depth knowledge of technical documentation (drawings, spec, BOMs, etc)
•Must be able to initiate research, review and determination of relevance of technical documentation
•Must set and maintain schedule to accomplish work goals.
•Must have proven ability to interact with diverse groups and successfully communicate issues on various technical levels.
•Good communication skills (verbal & written)
•Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player with personnel skills

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
•Familiar with manufacturing processes and capabilities, SAP, PCM,
•Typical 2-5 years' experience in order management and/or manufacturing in an environment dealing with complex engineered Gas Turbine components or repair
