Job Description
Job Description: The position will be with the Teamcenter Visualization Direct Model / 3D Analysis team, and will be located in ***Troy, Michigan, Ames, Iowa, or State College, Pennsylvania.*** The team's responsibilities include developing and maintaining the Direct Model visualization toolkit, and various 3D analysis tools including Measurement, Cross Section, and Interference Management.

Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality  and on-time delivery.  Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.  Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents,  and executes software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas.  Technical lead of one or more projects within one area of a product.  Provides input to the technical direction for one area of a product.  Consultations with customers in regard to product deployment best practices and specific issues. Able to solve complex technical problems. Provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications

Prerequisites and Essential Functions:
•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent is required.  
•3+ years of experience in PL / SQL is required and C++ is highly desired.  Other languages are a plus.
•High level of skill and familiarity with Oracle RDBMS, including tuning and query optimization is desired.
•Ability to work and communicate collaboratively in an internationally composed, and geographically dispersed team is required.
•Experience and familiarity with networking and inter-process communications are a plus.
•Experience with Test-Driven Development, automated unit testing, and robust software engineering practices is highly desired.
