Job Description
Position Summary
The Lead System Integrator/Chief Engineer, Innovation Projects Integration will provide the project leadership to the Global Engineering Organization(GEO) R&D Element team for Innovation Projects for Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, Inc.  

Plans and directs all aspects of GEO product development activities within a project. Ensures all engineering deliverables are in conformance with organization's established policies, procedures and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering and 10 years of experience in the field. Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others within the project. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to top management.  

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage/supervise a staff of engineering and lab professionals including: Director(s), Professionals & administrative.
• Coordinates all efforts of a cross-site team and ensuring completion of all GEO project documentation.
• Oversees the design and development of products while taking into consideration both the goals of the company and also the needs of customers.
• Project budgeting and resource management for all GEO deliverables within a project.
• Work Package development and execution of all tasks required in each phase of the project and development of key KPIs to track progress in daily agile stand-ups and integration events.
• Travel commensurate to lead cross-site project team.

• Bachelors Degree with 8 - 12 years of experience in Engineering / R&D.
• Masters or PhD a plus.
