Mission

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop Purchasing Metrics that enable the GAMESA global strategy and regional objectives. This Manager is responsible for all financials, cost control, and reporting metrics (including TCO, and NBA costs). A key function is also tracking cost reduction programs for both direct and indirect Purchasing. As a support function this person will be responsible for various sales activities and tracking of macro-economic indicators and commodity cost trends (steel, fuel, scrap, etc.) and collecting other relevant metrics.

Main Functions

  • Create and report monthly financials for the Purchasing Department to show KPIs.
  • Develop and Track all cost reporting metrics including TCO, NBA, EXW, etc.
  • Update NBA Industrial Tab with most recent information regarding component costs and Logistics
  • Support Sales with budgeting, forecasts, and expense projections for projects
  • Through TCO management, recommend changes to sourcing components in order to improve CM
  • Update Sales proposals with the most recent costing information
  • Tracking Cost Improvement projects
  • Manage Working Capital progress
  • Provide Management Control payment forecasts and track payments
  • Provide cost analysis by vendor and commodity
  • Market indicators for commodity cost trends including raw materials and fuel.
  • SAP Management (Order, Change, BOM)
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

2-3 years of University Studies in Finance, Economics and Management

Other Knowledge

  • Ability to manage and collaborate on mutli-cross functional teams
  • Able to work in a high volume fast pace environment
  • Must be able to work independently and support team members
  • Strong detail and accuracy skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
