A Blade Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all objectives are met with respect to programming, costs, schedules, quality, environmental, safety, legal and customer satisfaction for Service Blade Maintenance Programs; both In Warranty and OOW sites.

Main Functions

  • Analysis of existing business processes, uncovering needs and understanding business requirements regarding blades service market
  • Underline inefficiencies and other unnecessary costs - Elimination of red tape
  • Provide technical support and advice to Quality Department on Root cause analysis
  • Deep understanding of blades business processes, serving always as content expert and providing advice
  • Plans, schedules and monitors different stages of wind blade projects development and implementation from inception through close-out
  • Coordinates and implements process alignment with Global Operating Strategies
  • Increase communication within the different levels of the organization, clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure as a Blade technical focal point client satisfaction
  • Prepare Blade Division, to new business opportunities, providing guidelines to Sales department on new processes, techniques and trends
  • Embrace the company's vision, mission, values and culture; demonstrate those values in daily job performance of duties (excellence, continuous improvement, health and safety, adherence to protocol and procedures)
  • Responsible to provide support O&M team on Blades defect; prepare quotes, planning and execution
  • Implement Blade Maintenance according Gamesa Policies, improvements, processes, and developments
  • Other duties as assigned


2-3 years of University Studies in Engineering - Technical Studies

Other Knowledge

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Ability to manage people
  • Ability to generate reports in a timely and efficient manner
