We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst in our Shared Services Center located in Cranberry Township, PA.

In this position, a Business Analyst can expect to be responsible for the following:
  • Act as focal point for identification, collection, interpretation and prioritization of the global Business Intelligence reporting requirements.  This includes becoming familiar with SAP Business Warehouse (BW) and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reporting tools and becoming a liaison between the customer and the IT group.
  • Primarily responsible for supporting the business in the Sales, Operation, Planning, Analysis Reports (SOPAR) and Orders Entered (OE) areas.
  • Act as subject matter expert and frequently interact with BW developers, internal customers and management to clearly identify and articulate the business needs and translate them to the IT group.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation in SOPAR and OE reports with the SAP source system.
  • Coordinate business resources for testing, validation and sign-off of new functionality in existing reports, as well as new projects.
  • Provide end-user support in the form of defining report requirements, user training and communication as needed.
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people using strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines)
  • Provide support to users for Business Objects reporting.
  • Work closely with strategic management to continuously improve value of business performance reporting.
  • Prepare and/or monitor special financial reporting requests to meet business unit needs.
  • Assist with other reporting and/or audit requests as necessary.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Prior experience with BusinessObjects Reporting, BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation (BPC), SAP Analysis for Office, SAP Lumira or similar reporting platforms.
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in Finance and/or IT required.  Preferably, some experience as a Business Analyst.
