Job Description / Purpose / Vision:
Lead the development of specialized contract terms and conditions (T&Cs) to be applied to various supplier agreements for the entire Westinghouse supply chain including purchasing of products, services and equipment with the goal of protecting Westinghouse's commercial interests.  Support the sourcing groups in negotiations with suppliers or lead the negotiations as may be required.   Support the sourcing groups in the identification and mitigation of gaps and deviations from standard T&Cs for supply chain contracts.  
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and update supply chain internal processes and procedures relating to supplier terms and conditions.
  2. Support and lead face-to-face negotiations with suppliers on T&Cs issues and teaming agreements. Focus on large, complex or high risk or first of a kind supplier contracts.
  3. Lead the development of input for the internal governance and approval of deviations to standard terms applied to supplier contracts.
  4. Provide functional interface and strategic point of contact to the product line groups on T&Cs issues.
  5. Analyze and resolve highly complex technical, commercial and operational issues relating to supplier T&Cs to enhance positive customer and supplier relations.
  6. Perform reviews of existing, standard supplier T&Cs templates for various supply contract types (e.g. General Goods and Services, Engineering Services, Logistics, New Plant Equipment, etc.) to evaluate alignment with latest baseline T&Cs. Update standard T&Cs templates as may be required.
  7. Support proposal development activities relating to the supply chain scope of the opportunity. Analyze customer contract requirements and support sourcing groups in developing optimum commercial response.
  8. Review supplier claims related issues and provide recommended course for resolution or establishment of Westinghouse desired commercial positions.
  9. Support the supply chain contracts group in the development and delivery of T&Cs training.

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or recognized equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 15 years' experience in industrial, engineering and contract terms and conditions related activities required.
  • Hands on technical project management, contract negotiation and related engineering experience is desired.
  • Experience in the nuclear power business is also a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven history of managing and leading teams effectively and interfacing with multiple functional groups.
  • Experience with developing/implementing new business opportunities is beneficial.
