In this position, a Supplier Contracts- T&Cs Specialist can expect to be responsible for the following:

Support the Global Nuclear Supply Chain's contracts group's responsibility to maintain and update the standard suite of contract terms and conditions (T&Cs) to be applied to supplier agreements for the entire Westinghouse supply chain including purchasing of products, services and equipment with the goal of protecting Westinghouse's commercial interests.  Assist the sourcing groups in obtaining back-to-back or back-to-better flowdown terms where possible for specific purchasing activities.  Support the sourcing groups in the identification and mitigation of gaps and deviations from standard T&Cs for supply chain contracts during negotiations with suppliers. 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Individually support resolution of specific supplier T&Cs issues for various purchasing opportunities
  • Support face-to-face negotiations with suppliers on terms and conditions issues and teaming agreements as the need arises.
  • Support sourcing groups in the development of input for the internal governance and approval of deviations to standard terms.
  • Support the development and delivery of training to the supply chain buying staff on terms and conditions principles and standards.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or recognized equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in industrial, engineering and contract terms and conditions related activities required.
  • Hands on technical project management, contract negotiation and related engineering experience is desired.
  • Experience in the nuclear power business is also a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interface with multiple functional groups.
