We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer-Government Programs in our department.

In this position, a Senior Engineer-Government Programs can expect to be responsible for the following:

•WesDyne working in parallel with Westinghouse Nuclear Services provides the technology solutions and services that keep operating nuclear plants operating... safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
•Perform routine engineering design evaluations and analyses with specific guidance.
•Prepare appropriate documentation supporting evaluations and analyses with specific guidance.
•Verify routine design evaluations and analyses performed by others, as qualified.
•Interface on a limited basis with customers, vendors and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
•Obtain results to routine technical problems.
•Identify and recommend improvements in processes on continuing basis and assist in implementation.
•Identify and assist in development of new business opportunities.
•Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
•Interface with National Laboratories to transfer manufacturing technologies to WesDyne

Job Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial engineering, related engineering discipline, or equivalent required.
- Minimum 4 years applicable engineering experience is required.
- Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) experience is desired.
- Practical and fundamental knowledge of engineering principles and techniques, business unit products and services, industry codes & standards and government regulations.
- Statistical Analysis experience is desired.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred.
- Project management and financial acumen experience is desired.
- Candidate required to have a current or the ability to obtain a DOE security  clearance required
